A commemorative anthology to mark the twentieth anniversary of his death.  This publication is an English translation of Jarmil Burghauser (1921-1977); Sborník k.2 výročí úmtrí, edited by Markéta Hallová and Jarmila Tauerovápublished by the Antonín Dvořák Society in Prague in 2017.

This volume includes an additional article and an introductory biographical note on Burghauser by Markéta Hallová.  It also reproduces in full Burghauser’s composition Pinato, rabbia e conforto.

Burghauser, was a notable Dvořák scholar, theorist, composer and musicologist. This anthology includes reminiscences and essays devoted to his memory, his creative legacy and his numerous interests provided by friends and admirers including Michael Beckerman, Ilja Hurnik, Marek Jerie, Radomil Eliška, Jiří Pilka, Jan Smaczny, Pavel Trojan, Radoslav Kvapil amongst others.
