Objective: to enable a Czech or Slovak graduate musician to attend a masterclass or summer school at the International Summer School held annually at Dartington, Devon or at an alternative event held elsewhere in the UK. Prospective candidates are nominated by Czech and Slovak music academies (Prague, Brno and Bratislava) for the selection process. The final decision rests jointly with the Society and the respective host organisation.

The Fund is topped up from the proceeds of sales of donated CDs and the opera CDs produced under Tausky Archive Project. Previous recipients of the scholarship are listed here.

The first scholarships were awarded in 1999 to mark the Society’s 25th Anniversary.
